The benefits of Pilates
Pilates is a form of movement that focuses on strength, control, and awareness, helping you to better understand how your body moves and feels. It works in a calm and considered way, supporting you to move with greater ease, stability, and confidence, working from the inside out to create lasting muscular and postural change.
With regular practice, Pilates can help to improve posture, build strength, support joint health, and reduce tension. By developing deeper support within the body, it can also help to tone and gently sculpt your shape over time. It is particularly beneficial during times of change, such as perimenopause, menopause, postnatal recovery, or when supporting pelvic floor health.
